Cataracts what you should know !

Cataracts is an eye disease many people ask questions like : What is cataract and what are cataracts ? 

eye cataracts is a clouding of the lens {a clear part of the eye that helps to focus light, or images on the back of the eye known as Retina} in the eye that affects eye vision. Eye cataracts are related to natural aging process , eye catarcts can occur in one or both eyes (see picture).thus now we know what are catarcts or what is cataract . 

The lens must be clear and transparent to better communicate the lights passes throught it (-lens- see first picture ) fot the Retina to receive a image and changed it to signals that brain can understand , in a normal situation . 

But when you have eye catarcts the lens is cloudy from a cataract , then the image you see will be blurred in this cases you have blurry vision . 

Eye cataracts can develop with Older people in two things : 

-balls of protein reduce the sharpness of the image received by the retina : lens consists of water and protein When protein clumps up, it reduces the light that reaches the retina and caused the blurry vision, eye cataracts grow slowly over time you may not notice it . 

-color of the eye lens change to yellow/brownish shade : 

The eye Lens slowly colors with age , adding a tint to your vision which increase over time and make your activities difficult like reading, driving .
